About us

A Storied Club with Community at Its Core

Established in 1845, this is one of south Manchester’s oldest sporting clubs. It relocated to its current site on Kingsbrook Road in 1923, where it continues to flourish. 

The club offers year-round cricket and tennis facilities for people of all ages and abilities, fostering an inclusive and welcoming culture. 

Facilities & Amenities

Cricket setup includes three nets, a batting cage, and a 17-pitch square.

Tennis side offers three all-weather, lit courts and qualified coaches.

The clubhouse features two fully stocked bars, rentable function rooms, and is fully accessible.

The club holds Club Mark certification, adheres to Safe Hands, champions Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and earned recognition as the Greenest Cricket Club in the UK by Cricketer Magazine. 


Community, Membership & Engagement

With over 600 members, the club is run by its members through a committee structure, keeping rates affordable.
