Founded in 1845, Whalley Range Cricket Club is one of Manchester’s oldest and most respected cricketing institutions. Based at Kingsbrook Road since 1923, the club provides a welcoming environment for players of all ages and abilities.
We run a full programme of cricket:
Senior cricket with six teams competing in the Greater Manchester Cricket League (GMCL) across Saturdays, Sundays, T20s and midweek competitions.
Junior cricket for over 100 young players, from All Stars (ages 5–8) to structured squads up to under-18 level, including opportunities for girls’ cricket.
Coaching and development led by qualified coaches to help players improve their skills, whether recreational or competitive.
Our facilities include a 17-pitch square, practice nets, a batting cage and a friendly clubhouse. The club is proud of its rich heritage, strong community links, and commitment to providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy and develop through cricket.
